Triangle Canine Club(formerly known as The Dog Moms of Durham) is a volunteer run, 501(c)3, nonprofit organization. Our goal is to build a stronger dog community in the Raleigh-Durham area by being a resource for dog owners to connect to like-minded people, businesses, and organizations.

Perfectly imperfect Pups

We had a vision of a rescue that takes in the most urgent pups – dogs with special needs and medical cases in and around North Carolina. While our focus is special needs, we are inclusive of all dogs and our main purpose is to rescue as many dogs in need as we can.

Peak Lab rescue

Peak Lab Rescue saves Labrador Retrievers and Lab Mixes from high-kill shelters in NC. We are the largest foster-based dog rescue in North Carolina.

Freedom Ride rescue

In the rescue world, a “Freedom Ride” is that magical car ride out of an animal shelter for a dog. At first they are nervous, but there is a moment when they realize they are safe …. tongue out, tail wagging, a new chapter for them.

The Connie’s Kittens mission is to care for and find homes for countless local kittens and cats. We operate a small, home-based rescue in the Raleigh, NC area, fostering kittens and cats until they are ready for adoption.

Alley Cats and Angels (Alley Cats) is a non-profit, 501(c)(3), all volunteer, foster home based, cat rescue dedicated to improving the lives of the stray, abandoned, and feral cats, as well as the overall reduction of homeless cats in the Triangle through our adoption, barn cat, and spay/neuter assistance programs.
